Program: Hospitality – Restaurant & Bar

West Elm is opening its first hotel in Indianapolis and called in Home Studios to design its bar and restaurant. The building is a landmark art deco gem of the 1920’s that once was a Coca-Cola bottling factory. We are inheriting a beautiful space and protecting its original materials. We designed the space with soft, curved custom furniture contrasting with historic architectural elements. The blend of existing materials is enhanced by new finishes and combination of vibrant playful materials. The bar area sets itself as a more intimate space with a darker and moodier vibe with a warmer material palette.
