Program: Retail & Mixed use

Industry City (formerly Bush Terminal) is a historic intermodal shipping, warehousing, and manufacturing complex on the waterfront in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, NYC. Bush Terminal was the first facility of its kind in NYC and the largest multi-tenant industrial property in the United States. Today, Industry City has grown to serve artistic and modern businesses and try to include community input into the development vision for the space. S9 ARCHITECTURE have been working with IC for years, renovating retail spaces, creating pockets of leisure/workspaces areas or repurposing the courtyards in between the finger buildings to activate public/event programs.
